Pro Blaster Coatings Removal System allows R & C to use or change media type during projects without changing equipment. The Pro Blaster uses sodium bicarbonate to remove contaminants. Unlike abrasive blast media, sodium bicarbonate removes contaminants by the energy released when the particles explode. This allows us to clean surfaces that would be damaged by popular media such as sand and glass beads. Sodium Bicarbonate can be used to clean aluminum, stainless steel, brick, stone, glass, fiberglass, wood, plastic, seals, bearings, radiator cores, hydraulic cylinders and many other materials.
Sodium Bicarbonate breaks down hydrocarbons which makes it an excellent method of cleaning engines and engine parts. Sodium Bicarbonate does not break the surface tension of metal, thus flash rusting is avoided.
Using corn cob in the pro blaster R&C Restoration can remove heavy charring from fires in log homes. Corn cob will also remove exterior finishes as well as paint and staines. The Pro Blaster's versatility allows different grits of corn cob to be used with only minor adjustments. |
